Sites

Record the depots, yards and offices your vehicles work from, and assign each vehicle to the sites it uses.

A site is a place your vehicles work from: a depot, a yard, an office. Sites tell you where a vehicle lives, and pools use them so every booking runs on the right local time.

Only the business owner, or an admin with access to all pools, can add or change sites. Other admins can see them.

Add a site

  1. Open Settings then Sites, and tap Add Site.

  2. Give it a Name and a short Code, such as "NTH" for a northern depot.

  3. Start typing the street address and pick it from the list. Suburb, state and postcode fill in for you.

  4. Check the Time Zone. A site in Perth and one in Sydney keep different hours, and pools at each site follow their own.

  5. Add a contact Phone, Operating Hours and any Notes, then tap Save Site.

A site that closes doesn't need deleting. Switch off Active and it stays on record, marked Inactive.

Assign vehicles to a site

  1. Open the vehicle and, in its Manage grid, tap Sites.

  2. Tap Assign Site and pick one, or choose Create a New Site to set one up and assign it in the same step.

A vehicle can belong to more than one site, for example a ute that splits its week between two depots. One of them is its primary site: the place it normally lives. Tap Make Primary on a site to move the primary to it.

To take a vehicle off a site, choose Remove from site. If that was its primary site, the vehicle has no primary site until you set another.

Sites and pools

When you set up a pool, you pick the site its vehicles work from. The pool takes its time zone from there, so booking hours mean the same thing to the driver as to the depot.
