The TAC charge follows the garage postcode
In Victoria the TAC charge is collected inside your registration payment, and it is set by the vehicle type and by the risk zone of the postcode where the vehicle is normally kept. Two identical vans garaged in different suburbs are not the same cost to register. When a driver moves house and takes the van with them, that is a change worth recording.
