Job status workflow
How a job moves from draft to completed — the stages, the driver's one-tap buttons, and which steps let the customer know.
Can't find this in your app? Your business owner can switch the Jobs module off, which hides it for everyone — there's no message when that happens. An owner or admin can turn it back on in Settings → Business settings → Active Modules.
A job moves through a set order of stages, from booked to finished. Admins get it scheduled and allocated; the driver drives it forward from there with a single button at each step.
The stages
A job passes through: Draft → Scheduled → Assigned → En route → Arrived → In progress → Completed. A job can be Cancelled from any stage before it's done.
Getting a job ready (admin)
A new job starts as a Draft. If it has no date yet, tap Add a date; once dated, tap Mark as scheduled.
Allocate it to a driver and vehicle — see Assign a job — which moves it to Assigned.
Driving it forward (driver)
Each stage has one button:
On my way — from Assigned to En route.
I've arrived — to Arrived.
Start job — to In progress.
Mark complete — to Completed.
On my way and I've arrived notify the customer and — on Turbo — share the driver's live location, so both ask you to confirm. Only tap them when they're true. If the job isn't scheduled for today, the confirmation says so first, to stop yesterday's list being cleared by mistake.
Cancelling
Admins can cancel any job that isn't finished, from the header. A cancellation needs a reason, which is kept on the job's history — so there's always a record of what happened and why.
Keep the customer in the loop
