How records work — add, edit, attach, delete
Every record type in Axlerun works the same way. Learn the pattern once and fuel, fines, service, insurance and the rest all follow it.
Fuel, fines, service, insurance, registration, tolls, odometer, incidents, condition reports — they're all "records", and they all behave identically. Add, attach a photo, edit, delete: learn it on one and you know them all. Every record lives on its vehicle, reached from the Manage grid.
Add a record
Open the vehicle and tap the record type in the Manage grid — or use a Log shortcut where there is one.
Tap + Add and fill in the form. Fields without an "Optional" tag are required.
Attach photos or documents with Attach Files — from the camera, your photo library, or a file (images and PDFs).
Tap the save button — Save Fuel Record, Save Fine and so on.
Edit or delete one
Open the record's list and tap any entry to edit it. The checkmark saves your changes; the trash icon deletes it. Deleting always asks you to confirm first — "This action cannot be undone."
Attachments behave slightly differently depending on when you add them. On a new record the files upload when you save. On an existing record each file is added or removed straight away, and removing one asks "Remove document? This cannot be undone."
If a whole record type is missing
If a record type has no tile at all — no Tolls, say — your business has that module switched off, which hides it for everyone. An owner or admin can turn it back on in Settings → Business settings → Active Modules; your existing records come back with it.
