Edit vehicle details
Change a vehicle's make, model, year, fuel type or VIN, and attach documents. Here's what you can edit and what's fixed.
Sometimes the registry lookup gets a detail wrong, or you need to add a VIN that wasn't on file. The edit screen covers the vehicle's own details — not its records, which each have their own place in the Manage grid.
Edit the details
From the vehicle profile, open the ⋯ menu and choose Vehicle Details — or tap Vehicle Details in the Manage grid.
On Edit Vehicle, change any of Make, Model, Year, Fuel Type or VIN. As with adding a vehicle, the model list unlocks once a make is chosen.
Tap Save Changes, or the checkmark in the top right.
The plate number and state are set when the vehicle is added and can't be changed here — they identify the vehicle across all its records. If a vehicle was added with the wrong plate, add it again with the correct one and remove the old entry.
Attach documents
The Documents section on the same screen is where you keep files that belong to the vehicle itself — a purchase receipt, a photo of the compliance plate, anything you'd want to find later. Records like insurance and service keep their own attachments separately, on each record.
