Perth, Western Australia

Fleet management software for Perth businesses

Vehicle licences, motor injury insurance, servicing by the kilometre, FBT logbooks and running costs, for fleets working out of Perth and across WA.

Western Australia makes the paperwork simpler and the driving harder. There is no separate injury policy to buy and no annual inspection to book, so a Perth fleet's compliance is mostly one licence renewal per vehicle on its own date. What a Perth fleet does have is distance: a job in the Wheatbelt or down south puts a month of city kilometres on a vehicle in two days. Axlerun holds each vehicle's licence and insurance dates, sets servicing by odometer rather than by calendar, and records the FBT logbook automatically from the driver's phone.

What Western Australia does differently

It is a vehicle licence, and the injury cover comes with it

Western Australia licenses vehicles through the Department of Transport rather than registering them, and compulsory motor injury insurance is provided through the Insurance Commission of Western Australia and collected inside the licence bill. There is no separate policy to buy and no insurer to compare, which is the opposite of New South Wales, where the green slip is a separate purchase, and of Queensland, where you nominate an insurer. For a Perth fleet that means one renewal per vehicle rather than two things to line up.

No annual inspection, so the odometer is what you watch

There are no routine periodic inspections for most light vehicles in WA. Inspections come up when a vehicle is defected, being re-licensed, or in certain transfer situations, not on a yearly cycle. With no inspection forcing a look at the vehicle each year, the only thing telling you a van is tired is its own service history, and on regional work the kilometres arrive far faster than the dates do.

Your Perth fleet, in one platform

Licence and insurance dates, per vehicle

Every renewal held against the vehicle it belongs to, with a fleet-wide view of what is closest to lapsing. Recording the dates is free; the alerts before they arrive are on Cruise.

Servicing by odometer, not by calendar

Set the next service by kilometres for the vehicles doing regional runs and by date for the ones that stay in town, and log what each service cost. Proactive alerts are on Cruise.

The FBT logbook, recorded for you

Any vehicle with private use needs a valid twelve-week logbook or FBT applies at the full statutory rate. Trips record automatically from the driver's phone, and on Cruise the ATO-compliant logbook exports to Excel or PDF.

Fuel and chargers near the vehicle

The locator shows nearby fuel sites with their prices and nearby EV chargers with their connector types, around wherever the vehicle is. Free in the app on every plan, including Drive.

Fines against the driver who had the vehicle

Fine entries are on every plan, and on Cruise a fine is matched to whoever had the vehicle on the day, which matters when a ute is shared across a roster.

What the kilometres actually cost

Fuel, servicing, fines and other expenses roll up per vehicle over three, six or twelve months. The reports suite on Cruise adds cost per kilometre, which is the figure that makes a regional run comparable to a city one.

Built for small and growing Perth fleets

Enterprise telematics is priced and built for hundreds of vehicles, and it shows: hardware in every vehicle, an installer to fit it, and a contract long enough to pay for both. Axlerun is built for the 2 to 50 vehicle range instead, where the person chasing a rego renewal is usually also the person driving. There is nothing to install, adding a vehicle takes minutes, and your first three are free forever. If you outgrow it, we would rather talk than sell you a plan that does not fit.

It runs on iOS, Android and the web, so the office sees the fleet and the driver only sees what they need. If your vehicles cross state borders, the national overview covers how each state’s renewals differ. Explore the features and pricing or read how it fits construction, plumbing and electrical businesses.
