Registration

Registration is managed by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). CTP is paid with rego, and business vehicles are registered per vehicle with their own renewal dates.

CTP (choice of insurer)

CTP is compulsory and collected with registration, but Queensland operates a competitive scheme — you nominate one of the licensed insurers. Fleets can review the choice at renewal.
